This speaker series consists of four different sessions, highlighting various experts who can assist caregivers, friends, and family members of those diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia.

About the Event
Feb. 7th session will highlight Dr. Jacobo Mintzer from MUSC. He is a Geriatric Phsychiatrist with a focus on finding new treatments for Alzheimer's disease.Â
March 21st session is a panel discussion on wandering, dementia and driving, planning for a senior living community, financial planning, and dementia care navigation.Â
April 10th will highlight Dr. Andrea Sartori who will talk about Neuropsychology and Brain Health. What type of neuropsych assessments are there and how do they differ from other assessments.Â
June 5th session will be a panel discussion on cognitive rehab, occupational therapy, music therapy, pet therapy and how social day programs help maintain a persons memory even after being diagnosed.Â

Purchase one ticket to all four Speaker Series sessions and save $25. Purchasing this one ticket will admit you into all four sessions. Sessions take place Wed. Feb. 7 at 10am at Memory Matters on HHI, Thurs. March 21 at 10am at Grace Comm. Church, Wed. April 10 at 2pm at Bluffton Rotary Center, and Wed. June 5 at 10am at St. Gregory the Great.
