At Memory Matters, we provide programs, services, and educational classes that bring peace of mind to families and individuals living with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia (ADRD). During our two programs for those diagnosed with ADRD, participants enjoy socialization, lifelong learning, nutritious meals based on the Mediterranean diet, exercise, and meditation—helping them maintain their memory and improve quality of life.
Meanwhile, we support their partners through free support groups, providing tools to be the best caregivers they can be, and we educate the community on overall brain health. The impact of your gift allows these services to continue in our community and, we hope, reach beyond to help even more people affected by ADRD.
Donations to Memory Matters are tax-deductible. Thank you for choosing to make a gift—together, we will make a lifetime of impact on families living with ADRD.

Cora Miller takes care of her mother, Annie. A task Cora welcomed, until she realized she couldn't handle her mother's dementia diagnosis alone. She turned to friends, and then to Memory Matters where Annie is now thriving in the Memory Care Day Program. She comes four times a week and receives daily socialization, music therapy, art, and exercise.
Jane Wexler has been volunteering at Memory Matters for more than a decade. She calls it her second family. For years, she and her late husband, Paul spent many hours here helping, working, and donating. Today she is still volunteering and keeps coming back to help in any way she can to ensure families living with Alzheimer's Disease or Related Dementia are being cared for through our programs and services.

“Memory Matters helped Barbara in the earlier stages of Alzheimer's and we are grateful for that. I am especially grateful for the training I received in preparing for full-time care giving.”

"I have to admit, I am concerned about different parts of my body with knee braces, doing pushups etc but, I have never given my brain a second thought. I guess I just figured that it is what it is. Now, thanks to you I am very aware and concerned about my brain. I am scared to death of becoming senile and it's reassuring to know I have something to say about it. "

"I am one of those people you referred to that 'went into hiding' since things were not working out socially, so now I am out of "hiding" and back at exercise class again, etc. ...thank you."
