Alzheimer’s Disease or dementia doesn’t just affect the patient. It affects the entire family, with the primary caregiver absorbing most of the day-to-day hardships. That’s why it is so important the entire family receives support when needed. Memory Matters has a licensed certified counselor on staff that provides counseling for individuals, families, and caregivers. In addition, there are weekly support groups where newcomers are always welcome to share their fear, experience, and or simply listen and learn from the experience of others in similar situations. If you aren’t ready for counseling or a support group, Memory Matters also provides a wealth of knowledge in resources to help guide you along this journey.
