Fig Smoothie

Serves 2

4 large fresh figs, cut into quarters

2 small/medium frozen bananas, sliced

¼ cup natural Greek yogurt

3 tbsp. oats 3 tbsp. almonds

2 tbsp. honey

1 tbsp. chia seeds

1 cup water

1 cup ice       

 

Method:

Combine all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and process on high for 1 minute or until smooth. Add more liquid if necessary to adjust thickness, and blend again. Divide between two tall glasses and serve immediately.
